Biography

Ada Rebecca Temple was born on the 16th of September, 1883, in Muncy, Lycoming, Pennsylvania, the daughter of John Lloyd Temple & Martha Jane Allen. She married Maynard W. Reese on the 13th of January, 1900. Together, they moved to New York between 1911 and 1913, living in Ledyard, Cayuga County, primarily. Maynard died on the 2nd of December, 1947, in Aurora, Cayuga County, New York at the age of 73. Ada outlived him by 26 years and remained unmarried until her death at the age of 93. She died on the 30th of March, 1973 at Auburn. Ada and Maynard had ten known children: Edith, Martha, Raymond, Ernest, Lloyd "John", Ann, Alberta, Kenneth, Leo and Harold Reese.
