Wed., 2/12 Received a most interesting letter from an only soldier cousin and felt as though I had found a real cousin. Called on Kellet’s at evening taking along my letter from my new found cousin. Elizabeth and family came as it was a holiday. Wonderful day.
Thurs., 2/13 Wrote a letter to Joe. Sent Valentines. Same as usual. School all by myself at evening but lesson was fine and cheered my spirits even though it was a nasty drissling rain falling. Wondered tonight if ever I could be of great service to suffering humanity. Should love to be a maternity nurse. Life stretches out for me.
