Biography

Abigail Ford was born in 1608, in Bridport, Dorset, England. She was a daughter of Thomas Ford of Dorchester. Abigail married Elder John Strong in 1630 and died on July 6, 1688, in Northampton, Hampshire County, Massachusetts. She was 80 years old. Abigail Ford Strong's name appears on a large Strong family stone in Washingtonville Cemetery, Orange Co. NY., but she is buried with her husband in Northampton, Massachusetts.
