Biography

Abigail Woolworth was born in May or June of 1752 or 1754, in Murraysfield, England, and married Datus Ensign, Jr. on February 9, 1780, in Westfield, Hampden County, Massachusetts. She died on Dec. 28, 1825 in Boston, New York. Boston is a town in western New York, near Buffalo.
