Additional research needed. Several trees on Ancestry report her ancestry as follows, beginning with her parents:
- John Hutchinson (d. 1719) & Hanna Root
- John's parents were Ralph Hutchinson (1630-1703) & Alice Wolcott
- Ralph's parents were Richard Hutchinson (1602-1682) & Alice Bosworth
- Richard's parents were Thomas Hutchinson (1565-1618) & Alice Ingoldsby. William Hutchinson (1586-1688) was Richard's brother. He was married to Anne (Marbury) Hutchinson, a Puritan and follower of Rev. John Cotton, with strong religious convictions. She was banished from the Massachusetts Bay Colony.
- Thomas Hutchinson was a son of John Hutchinson (1515-1565), Sheriff of the town of Lincoln, Lincolnshire, England. They lived in Alford.
