Biography
Catherine ____ was born in New Jersey in 1785. She married 1st to Adam Peter Spring. (Her maiden name has yet to be determined). She married 2nd on the 19th of August, 1813, to Daniel Dugan, Sr., in Moreland, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. She lived in the home of Peter Spring in Franklin in 1860 and in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania in 1877. She died in 1886, aged abt. 95 years. Her longevity was commended in a story printed in the Daily Gazette and Bulletin, Williamsport, Pennsylvania, on the 3rd of January, 1877.
She was the mother of Sarah Ellen Dugan, Mary M. Dugan, Rachael Dugan and Samuel Perry Dugan.
