Biography

Cora Sherman was born in July of 1870, in Summer Hill, New York. She appears to have had a brother named Bert living with her and her husband in Summer Hill, Cayuga County, New York, when the census was taken in 1892. Their son, Albert, was born in Osceola, Pennsylvania, in December 1894 and her husband died in Pennsylvania from Typhoid Fever in 1897. She died in Moravia at the age of 43, on December 22, 1914, and is buried at Indian Mound Cemetery in Moravia, Cayuga County, New York.
