Biography

Damaris Westcott was the daughter of Stukely Westcott and Juliann Marchante.  She was baptized on January 27, 1621, in Yeovil, Somerset, England. Damaris married on December 17, 1640, to Benedict Arnold, the “President” and Governor of Rhode Island. She died on the 20th of June, 1678, at the age of 57.
