Isaac Stedman was baptized on April 21, 1605, in Biddenden, Kent, England. He married Elizabeth Winchester on October 26, 1629, at Tenterdon, Kent, England. He came to America on the ship "Elizabeth", sailing on April 17, 1635. Isaac settled first at Scituate in the Massachusetts Bay Colony. He also resided in the Muddy River section of Boston (present-day Brookline). Isaac was a yeoman and planter.
