Biography

John (Johannis) Conrad (or Conradt) was born in Schoharie County, New York, in December 1738. John married Anna Barbara Engel. Their daughter, Hannah (Anna), married John Hollenbeck.

Additional research needed. Other researchers give report John was the son of Michael Conradt (1719-1798) and Catharina Wegner (1724-1785). John, however was supposedly born in New York in 1738, while Michael died in Pommern, Cochem-Zell, Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany in 1798. Did Michael leave America and return or go to Germany?

Children

John Conrad & Anna Barbara Engel were the parents of my ancestor,
