Biography
John Evarts was born in Hertfordshire, England, in 1601. He married Elizabeth Heyden in 1626 and they arrived in New England in the summer of 1636. He died at the age of 67 or 68 on May 9, 1669, in Guilford, New Haven County, Connecticut and is buried there in Alderbrook Cemetery.
