Biography
William Gardiner was born in 1671 and was admitted a freeman in 1712. In 1705, William and Abigail sold 250 acres of land that belonged to her father and in 1708, they sold 17 acres of land near Pettaquamscutt Rock. In his will, which was written in 1732 and probated on Feb. 12, 1738, he left his heirs over 2,000 acres of land and 2,350 pounds in money.
