Dorcas Johnson "was probably born in Hampton, N.H., daughter of Edmund and Mary (__) Johnson", according to Noreen C. Pramberg's 1994 book, "Four generations of the descendants of John and Dorcus Pearson of Rowley, Massachusetts in 1643".
