Biography

Julia Brown was the daughter of John Brown and Nancy Wood. She was born abt. 1804 in Ithaca, Tompkins County, New York. She had twelve siblings. Julia married Alpheus Stowell abt. 1827. She was living in Lisle, Broome County, New York, in 1850, with her brother, Hiram, and his nine children. She died in 1873 at the age of 69.
