Margaret Smyth was born in England in 1620. She married John Watson in 1636 and they were early settlers of Hartford, Connecticut. John died in 1650 and Margaret died on August 6, 1683, at the age of 62 or 63, in Hartford, where she is buried in the Ancient Burying Ground.
