Biography

Mary J. Brooks was born in April of 1858. She married Royal J. Shirley between 1875 and 1876. Mary died at the age of 78, on the 7th of February, 1937, at the home of her eldest daughter, Gertrude, in Groton, Tompkins County, New York. Gertie died eight months later in October of 1937, at the age of 59.
