Biography

Olive Bugbee was the daughter of Timothy Bugbee and Hannah Wood. She was born on the 31st of October, 1771, in Mansfield, Tolland County, Connecticut. She married when she was 20 years old, to Archelaus Stowell on the 4th of November, 1791, in Ashford, Windham County, Connecticut and they had seven known children. She died on the 15th of March 1838 in Blodgett Mills, Cortland County, New York, preceding her husband’s death by thirteen years.
