Biography

Sarah Elson was born in Fordwich, in the City of Canterbury, Kent, England, in 1612. She married James Ensign before 1630 and died at the age of 63 or 64 in Hartford, Connecticut, on May 29, 1676. She is buried in the Ancient Burying Ground. (Note: Her entry on Findagrave states that she was "The daughter of ABRAHAM ELSON who died in Whethersfield in the Colony of Conn."
