Genealogy Resources for Schoharie County, New York

Schoharie County was formed from parts of Albany County and Otsego County in 1795. The County Seat is Schoharie. Early settlers included German Palatines sent by Queen Anne of England in 1712, to clear territory along the Schoharie River, followed by the Holland Dutch.
