The Congregational Church at Redding was formed in 1733, while it was still a part of the Town of Fairfield. Redding was formed from Fairfield in 1767. Church Records from 1734 to 1780 are preserved, but from 1781 to 1810, none are known to exist. Records resume in 1810.
