Oliver E. Leonard of Auburn, Cayuga Co. in 1830. He was born 1805 in Hinsdale, Berkshire, Mass. He was the son of Josiah Leonard and Content Anthony. Married Mary Washburn of Utica in 1832. Lived in Auburn in 1830. Josiah was born in Taunton in 1772 and died in Auburn in 1820. Oliver had a brother, John b. 1795, Job. b. 1802 d. 1833 in Cayuga County (perhaps Auburn), Bradford (b. 1811 d. 1858) in Utah, Philander b. 1813, and George Washington Leonard b. 1819 and d. 1872 in Auburn. Likely a descendant of James Leonard of Taunton. His household had one male age 10-14 and one man age 20-29. He was 25 in 1830, so that leaves one male age 10-14., though no children are listed for him in family trees online at ancestry.com. The boy would be born bet. 1816-1820. Therefore, he is was not Russell and Russell was not in this household in 1830. Oliver had a brother, George Washington Leonard (1819-1872) who died in Auburn and had a son who he gave his name born in 1840.
