Capt. Benjamin Blaney's Company

Capt. Benjamin Blaney's Company of Minutemen in Malden, Massachusetts, reportedly contained at least 75 men. The company belonged to Col. Thomas Gardner's Regiment.

Resisted Ministerial Troops.

At least 2,478 men from Middlesex County responded to the alarm on April 19, 1775. Of these, 75 were from Malden. The names of the men in three of the county's companies (approximately 150 men) are lost.
