Capt. Benjamin Locke's Company

Capt. Benjamin Locke's Company of Militiamen in Arlington, Massachusetts, reportedly contained at least 57 men. The company belonged to Col. Thomas Gardner's Regiment.

Entered the conflict at Arlington.

At least 2,478 men from Middlesex County responded to the alarm on April 19, 1775. Of these, 57 were from Arlington. The names of the men in three of the county's companies (approximately 150 men) are lost.
