Capt. Jesse Emes's Company
Capt. Jesse Emes's Company of Militiamen in Framingham, Massachusetts, reportedly contained at least 24 men. The company belonged to Col. Samuel Ballard's Regiment.
Entered the conflict at Concord.
At least 2,478 men from Middlesex County responded to the alarm on April 19, 1775. Of these, 148 were from Framingham. The names of the men in three of the county's companies (approximately 150 men) are lost.
