Capt. John Flint's Company

Capt. John Flint's Company of Militiamen in Reading, Massachusetts, reportedly contained at least 79 men. The company belonged to Col. David Green's Regiment.

Entered the conflict at Concord.

At least 2,478 men from Middlesex County responded to the alarm on April 19, 1775. Of these, 291 were from Reading. The names of the men in three of the county's companies (approximately 150 men) are lost.
