Capt. John Moore's Company

Capt. John Moore's Company of Militiamen in Bedford, Massachusetts, reportedly contained at least 51 men. The company belonged to Col. James Barrett's Regiment (possibly).

Entered the conflict at Concord.

At least 2,478 men from Middlesex County responded to the alarm on April 19, 1775. Of these, 79 were from Bedford. The names of the men in three of the county's companies (approximately 150 men) are lost.
