Capt. Moses Whiting's Company

Capt. Moses Whiting’s Company of Minutemen in Roxbury, Massachusetts, reportedly contained at least 55 men. The company belonged to Col. John Greaton's Minuts Regiment.

Entered the conflict at Arlington.

At least 141 men from Roxbury, a Boston neighborhood, responded to the alarm on April 19, 1775. These may have been the only men from Suffolk County known to have responded that day. Many reponded after, however.
