Capt. Robert Smith's Company

Capt. Robert Smith's Company of Militiamen in Needham, Massachusetts, reportedly contained at least 75 men. The company belonged to Col. William Heath's Regiment.

Entered the conflict at Arlington.

At least 676 men from Norfolk County responded to the alarm on April 19, 1775. Of these, 185 were from Needham. The names of the men in two Brookline companies (est. 100 men) are lost.
