Capt. Samuel Barnard's Company

Capt. Samuel Barnard's Company of Minutemen in Watertown, Massachusetts, reportedly contained at least 135 men. The company belonged to Col. Thomas Gardner's Regiment.

Entered the conflict at Lexington.

At least 2,478 men from Middlesex County responded to the alarm on April 19, 1775. Of these, 135 were from Watertown. The names of the men in three of the county's companies (approximately 150 men) are lost.
