Capt. Samuel Epes's Company of Minutemen in Danvers, Massachusetts, reportedly contained at least 82 men. The company belonged to Col. Timothy Pickering Jr's Regiment.

Entered the conflict at Arlington.

At least 702 men from Essex County responded to the alarm on April 19, 1775. Of these, 331 were from Danvers.
