Capt. Samuel Thatcher's Company of Militiamen in Cambridge, Massachusetts, reportedly contained at least 82 men. The company belonged to Col. Thomas Gardner's Regiment.

Entered the conflict at Lincoln.

At least 676 men from Norfolk County responded to the alarm on April 19, 1775. Of these, 82 were from Cambridge. The names of the men in two Brookline companies (est. 100 men) are lost.
