Capt. William Smith's Company

Capt. William Smith's Company of Minutemen in Lincoln, Massachusetts, reportedly contained at least 62 men. The company belonged to Col. Abijah Pierce's Regiment.

Entered the conflict at Concord.

At least 2,478 men from Middlesex County responded to the alarm on April 19, 1775. Of these, 62 were from Lincoln. The names of the men in three of the county's companies (approximately 150 men) are lost.
