Lt. Moses Abbott's Company of Minutemen in Bedford, Massachusetts, reportedly contained at least 28 men, formerly Capt. Jonathan Willson's Company The company's regiment is unknown.
Entered the conflict at Concord.
At least 2,478 men from Middlesex County responded to the alarm on April 19, 1775. Of these, 79 were from Bedford. The names of the men in three of the county's companies (approximately 150 men) are lost.
