It's not often you find a book written by your 10th great-grandfather, but if you are a descendant of Capt. John Underhill, you are in luck! A book he wrote in 1638 called "Newes from America, or, a New and Experimental Discoverie of New England, containing a true relation of their war-like proceedings these two years last past, with a Figure of the Indian Fort, or Palizado", gives his account of the conflicts between the Native American Indians and the colonists of Massachusetts Bay.
