Rev. Elijah Garrison gives the first sermon

Elijah Garrison was my paternal 5th great-grandfather. He was born in Kentucky in 1788, and went to Pike County, Illinois, in the 1820s. He married Sally Allen, perhaps a relation of Lewis Allen, mentioned in the 1880 book, "History of Pike Co, Illinois", by Charles C. Chapman, 1880.
